I happened to be close to where CityFibre had been installing the network for TT and Sky, Rawcliffe in York, so I took a few pictures.
Fairly neatly done, and some guys were around playing in a fibre patch cabinet too.

The street seems to be served by both Virgin and Openreach FTTC; FTTC is evident in the 2012 streetview picture (behind the cyclist), while the cabinet to the right of the tent (in my last picture) appears to be Virgin.
The 2015 streetview picture shows some additional roadworks and chambers compared with 2012, and they seem to match the CityFibre ones I saw. Perhaps the backhaul had been done by June, but none of the access network.
A large amount of the pavement now has the extra channel running along it, patched neatly, but strangely there weren't that many offshoots to connection pots for individual properties. I took one picture where it existed, but many other houses didn't seem to have anything equivalent ... which seems odd to me.
