Fibre on its way?

On my way to work today noticed people were working in the BT ducts. Company called future network solutions?

Whatever they were putting in was thin and with a blue coating.

I'm hoping it's fibre? If I didn't have to run for my train I would have stopped and asked. Post code is s26 6sa if a kind soul wants to check and confirm (or dash) my hopes.
