FTTP on Demand Wales

Hi

Does anyone know if FTTP on Demand will become available again back in October there was news that it was available but not available

Still the same, if anyone finds a provider happy to buy and sell the Openreach product then happy to run them as news.

Some one down the road from me (Cab 3 - Pontybodkin/Leeswood) Has FTTP.

Ill have to get a picture. There is a green box on a pole with a sign saying "Overhead Fiber"

PontyPontybodkin cabinet 3 is not live for FTTC, which is a pre-requisite for FTTP on Demand.

So if they have FTTP interested in the actual postcode.

Also seen same in Pontybodkin. Saw the green box on the pole, then it bounced along about 7 different poles to a farm.

I thought this was usual as it did just appear to be going to one property. There wasn't anything else that could be served near the farm. Openreach wouldn't usually wire a leased line in this way, then just run the fibre straight up the pole and bounce it along the other poles, no need for a green box on the pole.

Cab 3 is a native FTTP area.

It may be planned but have seen other areas with planned FTTP that have gone live with FTTC instead.

Also some FTTP areas where available in 1 out of the 6 postcodes, maybe that's the case here but cannot see which postcode is live.

Same, I have tried a shed load of postcodes all on cab 3 but no FTTC/P showing.

When I spoke to BT Business recently they indicated they were selling this service and it would cost £150 per month. This was for 330/30. We didn't get as far as looking at install costs as the monthly cost was too much for my company.
