Fibre work going on in all ready fibre area

So i checked roadworks.org today and discovered down the road about 200m from my house theres BT work going on and it says this "Locate and excavate 1 blockage in existing duct". All houses here can all ready get fibre so what does this mean?

The roadworks are about 50 metres from the closest cabinet.

This cabinet is quite close to my house but im connected to a one further away around 1KM away, could my house get connected to this closer one? or is there just some damage.

It is most likely that this has nothing whatsoever to do with what you are hoping.
