I made a request last week to migrate my fibre from talktalk to pulse8 assuming that the receiving isp did most of the work.
I've now been told that because of the type of fibre I have that isn't possible and I will have to request talktalk to downgrade my fibre to adsl and then request the switch. For which I pay a £75 migration.
Is the wool being pulled here? I live in an area of Manchester that has had fibre for years using standard talktalk - that I'm aware of.
I could take my request to another isp but would I get the same answer?
Thanks for any input
