Vtesse / Interoute Newcastle Fibre?

Just been looking on Roadworks.org and noticed Vtesse (now owned by Interoute) are doing a large fibre / ducting deployment around Newcastle City Centre and beyond. Anyone know what this is about? Will it be a private deployment for a company / instituation? Not really heard of them before

I think it's to do with linking up datacentres. They've been doing work for months around North Tyneside up towards NT college. I don't think it's anything residential I'm afraid.

Yeah didn't think it would be residential, was wondering if it was a dark fibre rollout where companies could lease p2p. Might drop them an email.

I did read somewhere that it was something to do with dark fibre. Got nothing to lose by contacting them.
