Blackheath Exchange West Midlands B65 could someone please

Hi

I was hoping someone could tell me more information regarding the roll out of FTTC in my area.

The exchange BLACKHEATH West Midlands B65 has been enabled since November 2015.

But when I do checks it says my cabinet P30 is at the build stage however it's been saying this for many months now and I was hoping someone here could provide further information because asking BT has proven pointless,

Provisional go live date of June 2016.

Hi thanks for your reply, not sure if you looked at the data on codelook but if you did you will have noticed that only a handful of cabinets were enabled from the beginning, and now a large amount all have the same provisional go live date of June 2016 this has been the case for quite a few months now and I have not noticed any work being done in the area.

My second question if I may is:

How often do BT actually keep to these provisional dates can I with a high percentage expect the date to change in the near future?

looking on roadworks.org you have loads going on, granted not on your cabinet, but on the others close by, I would say its possible it could be done by the end of June, but it is an unknown as there is no way of knowing if they will run into power problems, or blocked ducts.

Have you checked your cabinet? has its twin be erected? any markings on the road?

Sadly, "Quarter end" dates from Openreach are nearly always holding dates, and likely to be extended considerably a few days before the date.

Basically all they tell you is that the cabinets are still in the plan.

Not a thing has been done near my cabinet no road marking or anything either.

I have also been checking roadworks on a weekly basis since my exchange went live last November.
