Erm, every postcode that has FTTP that I enter in on codelook all say its FTTC and FTTP, April's version was fine.
Can anyone else that has FTTP check their post code on that site to see if it also says FTTC as well as FTTP for their postcode.
I have checks loads that I have already stored in my own database that I know have FTTP and they also say its FTTC as well as FTTP.
I also spoke to Executive Level Complaints, BT Consumer today on the phone and she was told on their system that our FTTP was all live but for some reason they couldn't order FTTP, and they checked with the openreach system (might be via the portal) and she was presented with FTTP is live but you cannot order due to FTTC is due to be installed between 2016 to 2017.
Like cabinet 39 on exchange Ilford Central (LNILC) says the following:
Cabinet P39 FTTC Available from 30th December 2011 FTTP from 30th December 2011 Huawei E12 5AZ
And I am 100% that is FTTP due to I know several homes that have the external Grey, Brown etc fibre box and have Infinity 4.
Like I have said I have tried loads of different areas that I know have FTTP and they all get listed as both.
It just looks screwy

I just checked an address I know has FTTP and it showed FTTP only, no FTTC.
Edit: ah, sorry, that was using the BT Wholesale ADSL Checker, not "codelook" - what's the address for that?

Really?
What postcode would that be if you don't mind me asking?
I tried about 30 different postcode all over the UK and they all showed them as both when you viewed them in the full cabinet list.

Yep broken for that postcode as well
Cabinet P1 FTTC Available from 7th July 2015 FTTP from 7th July 2015 Huawei CO10 5HS
http://www.telecom-tariffs.co.uk/codelook.htm
Code look is using May's update April's didn't have this issue.
And this seems to be confusing the hell out of them (Executive Level Complaints, BT Consumer) and their manger.
Like in one hand it says our FTTP is all live and the other it telling them that FTTC will be ready between 2016 and 2017 LOL.

Take a look at PO21 5AZ. That postcode has no FTTC but has had FTTP for over a year (in fact the whole estate is FTTP). Shows in codelook as "FTTC Planned".

Same issue here, all postcodes that are just about to go live with FTTP (infrastructure all up and everything) are now showing as FTTC. Also where FTTP is LIVE, it says this for example:
Cabinet E_5 - FTTC Available from 10th October 2015 - FTTP from 10th October 2015

Something doesn't seem quite right.
I've checked a few local exchanges and every single cabinet that isn't enabled (even the exchange only bundles), now shows "FTTC Planned" even though the Openreach site still has the cabinets at "exploring solutions".
I doubt every single cabinet on the Benton, Wallsend, North Shields and Killingworth exchanges are planned for FTTC.

How do you know this is not a codelook generated issue i.e. ingested data wrongly

Might just be the way codelook has done the new dataset, as my area is certainly not FTTC (as there is no new cabinet anywhere near the existing cabinet) and has just gone live in the last month or so for FTTP orders.

It could well be, I never said the issue originated with the data provided to Codelook, I simply said something doesn't seem right with the data.

I'm on FTTP but the info for my postcode/cabinet says "FTTC Available from 14th June 2013". That's actually the date when FTTP became available!

I'm guessing they have somehow regressed the data back a number of years - perhaps an incorrect data restore or a snapshot that has been loaded in error. All the data seems to be from some time ago.

I'm not sure that would explain the confusion between FTTP and FTTC though. In my case, AFAIK my postcode /cabinet area was never down for FTTC.

I've checked a few local exchanges and every single cabinet that isn't enabled (even the exchange only bundles), now shows "FTTC Planned" As do all 70 odd bundles of EO lines on the Vauxhall (WRVAUX) exchange in London.

Pretty much confirms there's a muck up somwhere

How do you know this is not a codelook generated issue i.e. ingested data wrongly Because BT saw the same issue when they checked our connection, they saw that our FTTP was completed and live for a while and when they tested to see if they was able to order FTTP it failed and after looking deeper they also saw FTTC for our line due 2016 to 2017.
Then I saw it on codelook like it as well.
I have emailed parts of this information to the Executive Level Complaints, BT Consumer person that is dealing with our broadband issue, so I will see what they say when they phone me on Tuesday.

Yeah I checked loads all over the UK and all had issues, the only ones that are affected are ones that have no phase information, all cabinets that have phase info set are not affected at all.
Due to codelook having the issue and also BT Staff seeing the same info on their system (when they checked) I spoke to an Executive Level Complaints, BT Consumer member of staff yesterday afternoon on the phone, and I first emailed them on the 6th, one day after that dataset was released, so going by that it is possible there was an error in that dataset and was also checked by that BT staff member and their manager at the same time so they might of seen the same issue.
Now since then the database might of been fixed, so BTW and Where and When would be fixed, however codelook wouldn't be until they next update theirs, normally each month.
I will ask the Executive Level Complaints, BT Consumer staff member to look again on Tuesday when I speak to them next.
I am wondering what access does a Boost Engineer have, I am due a visit from one on Monday between 8am and 1pm, could they see and access the portal etc or do they only have access to what they need?

I'm guessing they have somehow regressed the data back a number of years - perhaps an incorrect data restore or a snapshot that has been loaded in error. All the data seems to be from some time ago. Nope, there is correct info for a cabinet on my exchange that started a few months back and went live last month.
The error only affects cabinets that have no phase information.
So I am guessing there is no phase info set.
I reckon somebody at BT/BTOR did an incorrect database update, or an incorrect export for the NGA Documents.
Like I have said in another reply I will ask on Tuesday when I get my next phone call from BT.
