Finding out about an already installed Cabinet Delay

So, our local cabinet was installed over 14 months ago. (I suspect it's been there longer but I'm going by the date on the google street view image history).

It looks like a standard ECI 128/256 FTTC cabinet and the older old-school phone cabinet is just opposite it.

Has anyone seen BT install a cabinet, then not wire it up? According to their checker it's still being "connected".

There is a second cabinet serving the streets immediatly south of us. Less than 400meters away. Houses North of us are also connected via another cabinet as well. It seems to be a peculuar situation. Connected via the Livingston Bridge Exchange.

Every 3 months, BT keeps pushing the ready for service date. Originally scheduled way back in 2012/3 IIRC.


Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Could be a blocked duct or issues getting power to the cab (none nearby, or too expensive)
