Talk talk SMPF?

On ADSL Talk Talk offer SMPF services so you can have your phone line with one provider (say BT) and your broadband with Talk Talk. However ive yet to see a provider offer this on Fibre. Instead if you want Talk Talk fibre you have to take up their line rental aswell

Will there ever come a point where Talk Talk Fibre SMPF is possible?

Yes its possible, albeit on their Business offering only (direct TTB). You would need to call them up though as TTB don't openly advertise SMPF based FTTC services and of course you will have to pay a premium.

Retail wise, probably not. The mass-markets like being a one-stop shop. Less likely to leave if you have several products with them.

TTB do it as confirmed in another post and that's possible on a wholesale basis too - we offer it under our Fibre/+ Pro option.

Plusnet do not insist on phone being with them on FTTC. Nor it seems to BT Consumer, despite the fact they only advertise packages that require it. It is in their current Price Guide.

AAISP allow SMPF, in fact if you want a line to make non-VOIP calls on it is all they offer. They don't offer a retail PSTN service.

Many of the smaller companies offer SMPF.

Thanks for that. Is that a new offering as looked at Uno before but wasnt aware you offered TT SMPF fibre?
