TBB speed vs Win10

I have a fab connection. TBB usually reports it at between 74 and 75. Windows 10 is always a little bit higher and peaks at nearly 78. I'd be interested to know why. Is Windows telling the truth? Are there some overheads that I don't know about?

TBB measures tcp throughput (IP - 40) win 10 is looking at a different level. On eth maybe IP or IP + a bit (I don't know win 10) on a linux box on eth counters are IP + 14.

If you are still on BT then the maximum IP Profile is 77,432kbps. If showing above that then something is distorted.

Thanks. My IP profile is 77.44 Mbps

Win10 Task Manager shows about that when TBB is showing about 74.5 and I was wondering what caused the difference.
