Government, Aliens or Pirates are stealing my packets? Wcid?

What can I do? I'm losing packets in every direction to every website...

My provider (Talktalk) says they've tested everything from my router, to their end of things... and they can't find any faults.

I'm losing at least 10% of my packets.
I'm doing traceroutes... I'm losing 50% on the way to google. I can't play games...

They get lost on various hops. But predictably on certain sites.

What can I do?

All depends at which point in the journey the packets are lost...

Is there packet loss to the first hop after the routers IP address?

What router are you using?

Please post a traceroute showing this packet loss.

Star Wars Battlefront Servers (the test I run most of the time, and we just experienced an uncharacteristic spike in the internet, which caused a 1% packet loss at the source + edit: I can't believe the ping difference, I don't know what just happened)

Are you measuring this over wifi, homeplugs or ethernet?

Rule that out first.

Try with a cable to the router and turn wifi off on the computer/device.

If the packet loss does not occur, your wifi is the issue instead of the connection.
