Falkirk Area - Exchange Only Line - Is there any hope?

Hey all,
As per the subject, as far as i know all cabinets in the area have been fibre enabled for some time but those of us on EO lines have heard nothing and as far as i can see there are no plans for this area either.

Looking to next year - i see G.Fast etc coming in - is this a possible delivery mechanism for faster broadband on EO lines or is that for existing fibre users? But, If not g.fast then what?

G.fast needs a cabinet offering VDSL2 already in its current incarnation - maybe in a few years that will change (a cost/implementation decision by Openreach not tech limitation)

As for EO in Falkirk not aware of any improvements planned, there is the expansion from Virgin Media via Project Lightning which may cover some of them, and their presence in area may explain why Scottish project is doing EO upgrades in other places.

Thanks Andrew - as suspected i didn't think i saw anything in the pipeline and it would seem even G.Fast wont help which is really quite annoying.
