Fibre before the end of the year?

Hey guys,

Codelook has just updated and saying by Jan 2017 fibre date, I'm wondering if anyone can find me more info, a more precise date, I'm hoping it's not far away at all now!

I've posted a few times, but this seems a significant update. My postcode is HR2 9DX. smile

Just keep checking the Openreach site (then when and where page) as it's updated daily.

Some cabs round here were destined for Jan 17 but went live early September.

On the openreach site, it says it is on "connect" with the codelook website saying fibre will be live by October 2016 for my area....I hope it's weeks? I'm wondering if it might be pushed back.

That's anyone's guess. I've seen cabinets sit at connect for years, while others have taken a matter of days.

The openreach when and where is complete b*****ks. We have two lines at this address both going through the same cabinet. For one line it says accepting orders, for the other it says doing the field survey. Both statements are wrong as the cabinet has been installed but not activated.

As with anything, there will always be omissions and data records issues, especially in cases where there's some line plant rearrangement taking place and moving lines.

For the most part, it's accurate.

It'll happen when it happens, basically. Anything else is a guesstimate.

Mine has been just around the corner since 2010 - supposedly now it's in "build stage, 5 months away" ..... same as it was in January. Both are complete [censored], as planning permission for the cabinet expired years ago and they haven't re-applied.

that's true, I wish there was a way to find out. When openreach will install fibre cable to a cabinet.

January seems possible, but then it get delayed buy weeks/months at any point.

Your still an EO Line that is due to be moved over to a cabinet (Pending - EO Line).
The good news is your rollout is still in scope.

Now wen it will go live I don't know.
