There are quite a few EO lines - E_1, E_5, E_6 and E_8.

Looks like just the two cabinets planned for the exchange.

I think it is safe to say that Codelook doesn't handle transitions very well. When copper re-arrangement is going on, the data loses some of its consistency ... Previously, we've seen it happen with postcode data, but perhaps now we'll see it more with cabinet data as the projects start to do more an more infill.

It would be safest to assume, for now, that there will be 2 cabs, and that cab P2 and cab E_1 are going to be the same thing.

My working assumption (even with the earlier argument in this thread) is that a cabinet named "E_1" has been given that name as a temporary label, generated (at some point) from thinking that it will be providing infill for EO bundle 1.

I make no further assumption about how/whether/when the name becomes a permanent one; there has been too little indication of that.

P2 looks like it covers the postcodes for EO bundle 4 and EO bundle 5, if codelook is right, but doesn't say it covers EO bundle 1.

But looking at the map of postcodes, P2 coverage goes right up to the EO bundle 1 area. I conclude that it could end up as infill for EO bundle 1, but doesn't quite have the postcodes right yet. Or it might not.

Roadworks.org has just been updated so I guess it answers the question as to the cab number and its location:

So.. right outside the cab. That will put my line length as a shade over 2km. Wont be 'superfast' but should be an improvement on what I've got now.

Connected counties did say to me in an email that they were aiming for 100% super fast coverage (no time scale) so maybe I will see another cab closer to my address later on.

Hopefully vectoring is enabled on this cab from the go.

Curious - its gone from roadworks.org but the one about installing fibre cable in to a duct at the same time is still there...

I wonder if there has been a change of plans.

I went to have a look at the proposed location out side the exchange over the weekend. I didn't see any markings on the floor for the location of the cab.
