Yeah but look at your lovely 5ms laugh which part of the country are you in if you dont mind me asking. I'm in central scotland so i'm guesssing 15-16ms is the lowest I will ever see.

London, about 7 miles by road from London Bridge and about 5 miles from London City Airport.

That second hop is actually a bunch of hops on the Sky network you can't see - modems don't show up in traceroutes smile

Number if hops is pretty meaningless to be honest.

Old thread I know but BT Biz have finally managed to sell me a FTTP service. Iíve ordered their Ultrafast Enhanced 2 service (330/50) which comes with 4G Assure and Digital Voice (voip) as standard. Already received their router & 4G dongle in the post, just hope they honour the negotiated price of £68/m rather than the full advertised price of £84/m. I *should* be going live this Wed smile

I assume that is plus Vat?

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Three 4G, tbb tests normally 35-45Mpbs down, 65Mbps off-peak, 9-24 up.

Yep ex-vat, so around £82/m in total. Just hope BTB stick to the agreed deal! Already have it in an email but then again I had a signed contract for FTTPoD with them & they reneged on it frown

Went live on midnight, but it seems BT Business have put me on the old (discontinued?) 330/30 service rather than the advertised 330/50 (Ultrafast Enhanced 2) service. No doubt they will charge me £150/m as they will say its what I ordered back in Jan 2017 (FTTPoD 330/30) lol

My Broadband Speed Test

Edit: After swapping out the Business Smart Hub with my own Netgear router, the upload shoots up to 50 Mb/s so I have been correctly provisioned on 330/50. I wasn't planning on using the Smart Hub anyway (will save it for next years bonfire). Happy days smile
