Fibre quality issues

Hi all,

in recent weeks I've noticed some quality issues wit my connection

Normally, connection gives roughly 35 DL / 7 UL with a ping of 12ms

However, in recent weeks I've had drops to approx 9DL/8UL

(not sure if this is relevant, the fact that its almost parity between DL and UL?)

These only seem to be fleeting issues, approx 30 minutes to 1 hr at a time, but I'd appreciate any advice

Nothing wrong with the BQM

What is the connection speed of the modem? Also what do speed tests look like i.e. link to the results from http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest

So, the large yellow spikes in latency are ordinary?

THIS is a standard result (wi fi off at router, hard connection)

As said above, probably 90% of the time, these are the results I see, but the 10% is the 'parity' style drop to around 9MB on upload and download and things like spinning wheel when trying to load YT videos and multiplayer gaming latency issues (ghosting in games etc)

Yes, perfectly normal.

Time to make a note of the good settings and tests and then compare when it does go bad.

Making sure the bad times do not coincide with a device you own hogging the connection e.g. phone updating lots of apps in background etc
