I like this map in colour area of Standard < 10Mbps available (light pink), Standard >= 10Mbps available (light orange), Superfast available (light green) & Ultrafast available (dark green)

It would be good if it was correct but for my postcode it is completely wrong and only shows <10Mbps available. I have 80Mbps FTTC and some other premises on the edge of the village have WBC FTTP up to 330Mbps available. So it isn't much use.

Completely wrong - shows superfast available for a postcode that only has ADSL - cabinet not currently fibre enabled.

As usual with these things coverage by Virgin and total lack of fibre coverage by Openreach = monopoly on all 'fast' services, zero competition and all boxes ticked by OFCOM

Completely wrong for my postcode, shows 80/20, currently getting 46/6 frown

Last time I checked there was no one in my street with anything remotely close to 80/20 estimate. Very misleading.

Yes, there's plenty of FTTP in Cornwall, but you might find your intended property wil cost a bit more than the £20K you said (elsewhere) you have in the bank.

LOL, its says the following for my postcode:

-------------+-----------------------+-----------------------+----------------
             | Highest available | Highest available |
             | download speed | upload speed | Availability
-------------+-----------------------+-----------------------+----------------
Standard | 12 Mbps | 0.9 Mbps | Good
Superfast | -- | -- | Poor
Ultrafast | 330 Mbps | 30 Mbps | Average
-------------+-----------------------+-----------------------+----------------

I which I got that ADSL Speeds when I was on it.

Also the coverage map they show says most of my road can get it which they cannot.

After typing in the postcode and seeing the result, scroll up a little bit, pick your address from the list and the speed changes - it almost got my estimate speed right.

Nope, ADSL is about right for what I had in 2012, but VDSL is still showing 79/20...................I wish! Never had remotely close to that, best was 60/12 but not at the same time, and that was a long time ago.

Why not take that break you were on about and maybe that holiday you thought was too expensive at £4k for a month even though you allegedly have £270k in the bank?

Maybe then when you get back you can buy FTTPoD even though you were worried that nearly £20k for 3 years would leave you very little cash left, after all you've suddenly found a quarter of a million so you're all set.

I suppose so but my heart want FTTP but my mind say NO to my higher investment saving £250k which I leave it alone. I only use £20k in my ISA saving for anytime to use. I am so sad really cos I just don't wanna to spend it. I just wanna to protect myself when I am retired in a cruise every days for rest of my life rather than [censored] NHS care home (abused)

A holiday would be a good idea (no browsing forums), but clearly you don't need FTTPod, it would be a complete waste of money.

The number of times I've been told to my face, why do your figures not match Ofcom ones. The presumption is Ofcom is always right...and they get all the data from the operators directly

At least if people report an error on ours its fixed within 24 hours usually, rather than a year or more
