EO line moved to fibre enabled cab - still unable to order

My EO line was finally moved to an existing fibre cabinet last Monday (14th August), and my postcode that is part of the BDUK rollout.

However when entering the details on the "Openreach When can I get fibre?" checker it just returns...

Your cabinet is enabled for Superfast fibre however you're not able to order fibre just yet.
This might be because the length of the line is too long to get Superfast speeds. We're actively looking at other options.

It's around a week and a half since the OR checker showed that it had moved to cabinet 62 (Mosborough exchange). I am roughly 600m by road to the cabinet, not knowing where the cable goes of course but unlikely to be too strange as a stone's throw away (Postcode for that is S20 7JS) is connected to the same cabinet 62 and is able to get around 35-40mb speeds.

My postcode, S20 7LY has 16 properties all of which return the same message as above. As well as with a telephone number.

BT's DSL checker just has the cabinet information plus being able to order FTTPoD, with no mention of any FTTC stuff, again, same with a telephone number.

Use the postcode you will be able to see for yourself.

If anyone has any suggestions that would be great. Eagerly awaiting to order now.

That makes sense. Just the message is a bit strange but the rearrangement wouldn't of happened if I couldn't order fibre I suppose.

The line to long is basically a default message when something in the databaes doesn't align. Quite common with the all in one cabinets.

This isn't an 'all in one' cabinet but I know what you mean. I suppose the EO rearranging can do all sorts of havoc to the databases. I will await for it to all sync together!

Aw ok, most EO rearrangements are but the same still applied with regards to database entries of the DP location etc

Given that the ADSL2+ results for both postcodes are broadly similar suggests that the total line lengths are much the same. Assuming that the back-haul from the cabinet uses either a single cable or several on the same route then the remaining cabinet to properties should be of a similar length/distance.

It will probably be just a case of waiting for databases to be updated and align and you should see estimate similar to the other postcode.

Oh that's good news. I thought as much, the houses on both postcodes were also built at the same time by the same developer so does make sense.

Were the properties on the other postcode also EO lines that have been moved recently?

They were yes, but done a number of months before mine was.
