OR update on Cabinet 8 Bow Street

Hi,
recently received this update from OR, can any explain what it means in laymen term?

"I�ve received a response from the second level support team; they�ve advised that, this is because of L2L (Live to Live) migration.

The cabinet is going through a full migration to a new cabinet in your area, which will then be fibre enabled and allow you to order fibre broadband.

The work for this project is currently ongoing, but I�m afraid I won�t be able to give you a timescale today as to when fibre will be available at your property."

'Live to live'

Usually refers to Openreach building a new cabinet and DSLAM and siting it somewhere closer to certain addresses served by a currently live cabinet/DSLAM .... thus making D-sides shorter and improving speeds on FTTC lines .....

First of all they will transfer current live circuits from one DSLAM to the newer one.

A faff , but gets there in the end.
