Estimated line length

Hi all,

My Line attenuation is 20db.. And I've estimated it about 600m of the route it I think it takes

Syncing at 60meg download

Sounds about right! My line is estimated at being 900 m long - reported attenuation of around 26.6 dB.

Circa 55 Mb DS and circa 8 Mb US.

well yours alot faster 24.4 line db 35mb ds and 6mb us

Sync at 60 and get 60-59 with a 3.0 noise margin

I'm at 20 dB line attenuation and at 6 dB SNRM target I can sync at 56Mbps / 13Mbps approximately.

Mine too.

24.8dB attenuation and sync at 14.9 Mbps with 5.9dB SNRM. Openreach say my line is about 1.2km long so it sort of shows that with fibre using the attenuation isn't the best way to estimate line length.
