Is it possible from these stats to decipher the actual line length to the cab?

Pretty short. Other than that I think people would be guessing. However, looking at your attainable then I'm surprised you can't see the cab from your house...

My guess would be 250-275m, if 0.5mm copper is in use.

My cabinet is the other side of our front garden wall and you have a better downstream attainable rate than us, although the upstream isn't quite as good.

Looks as though you have interleaving on downstream.

I'm pretty sure vectoring is enabled ( its a bduk cab in a semi-rural area which has targets to meet. )


The cab is close but it takes an overhead route from my property to a Pole then UG to the cab which i have no idea which way it would run.

Pretty sure G.INP is on also aswell as vectoring and the cab is a Huawei 288.



The way the layout looks the agg node is on the main street ( where this cab is ) as its marked out that way and the village also has 2 other 288 cabs at other ends.

No idea on the copper was put in around 29 years ago.

My guess would be 300-325m maybe stretching to 350 ... basd on attenuation.

Looking at Attainable and Margin, it appears to be a very clean quiet line.

Had to unplug the router and move it and after a restart its showing healthier attainable on the upstream...

For comparison, my attainable is 133mb, with attenuation 7dB, on a line that's about 100m. Likely quite noisy though, as it runs alongside mains wiring indoors, passes an aircon unit outdoors, and runs along a main road soon after.
