pfSense PPPoE IDNet

Hi

I use pfSense PPPoE to connect via my openreach modem to PlusNet, now I'm moving to IDNet.
Will it just be a matter of updating the connection username & password in pfSense ?

Only reason I'm asking is my IDNet account shows a VLAN Tag
Connection Type:PPPoE
VLAN TAG101


Just want to check if I will need to do anything with it !

If the existing system is happy then should be just change the credentials

I'm using the same setup with IDNet.
I just added the username and password to the WAN interface page and that was it.
I didn't need to change anything else.

How did you handle the situation of phone with BT and broadband with Plusnet in the end? I've never dealt with it, I've always had everything with one ISP, so when I had BT they migrated the TV, broadband and Phone all in one go - on the same date, to the new place. Clearly it's not this clear-cut with things over multiple suppliers. Just interested on hearing the final solution

My line is with BT, the FTTC with Plusnet.

As I'm not bothered about keeping my number I had a few options available.
In the end I've decided to go for a new line with simultaneous FTTC provide from IDNet.

Miriam was very helpful. Just have to wait for it to go live now!!
