Finally can get Fibre, But what does this mean?

So I placed my order for Unlimited Fibre Extra with Plusnet and it says that it will change on the 13th but when I go on Bt checker it says the below message.

There is an open order on your line which is due to complete by 16-Dec-2017.

I was wondering what this means? Does it mean I won't get the connection until the 16th?

I'd guess that you'll get fibre enabled between the 13th - 16th December

BUT ... depending on where you are it may slip. There are a number of areas where BT has suffered additional damage or faults due to the snow and they may take precedence over new installs or upgrades

Agreed, and maybe also don't expect activation before Christmas?
