Well OR knows how to ruin my day, just had a look at local paper & see GFast pilot is now live in the 16 wards of Bath,I am barely 1/2 mile out side of the closest ward,Bathwick, yet we have G Fast pods on the cabinets here for months.

Just ran a few checks around various areas of Bath and have found no Ultrafast accepting order status's yet, so I don't think that it is live across the whole of Bath (or the checker hasn't been updated!). If you've got a G.Fast cabinet (and definitely not a PCP extension) then you can expect it to go live around the time of the others, although if not in the initial trial area it will go live eventually regardless, may just take a bit longer is all.
Have you found any areas that are Ultrafast available for order either on the DSL checker or on here? https://www.homeandbusiness.openreach.co.uk/fibre-br...
I'm struggling to find any!
EDIT: I've found Cab 31 is live, that's the only one i've found so far though!

I've just tried half a dozen or so, most even had 80Mbps or pretty close but no G.Fast.
Found FTTP at BA2 4AL though.

Generally the Gfast pods go in clusters (based on where I've seen others, i.e. rare to find just one in an exchange area).
Bath has a growing amount of FTTP in the city centre particularly.

Give it a month or two and you should be all good I reckon, if the pod's been in situ for a while i'd imagine it'll more than likely become part of the trial!

Hopefully DSL checker will update within a few days.

G.Fast has just entered "Amber" state on the BT DSL checker for my cabinet but as you can see from my other post I wouldn't get your hopes up to much.

Looks like you have to live almost inside the cabinet to get faster speeds than FTTC.
(guess we can all keep dreaming of the dawn of affordable, easy to order and install FTTP)

https://www.thinkbroadband.com/how-broadband-works has a table on expected performance at various distances,
Once we see 100,000's of live customers and thus speed tests we may adjust that table, but for the few tests we've seen to date and the BT Wholesale estimates it stands.

Been poking around & found the Holburne Museum, Bath ( BA2 4DB) has G Fast on Cab 31, I'm roughly only 1.5 mile up the road, & my Cab 39 has G Fast pod, but no G Fast.

I've just tried a few in various areas and nothing on the wholesale checker yet. (Again all with G.Fast pods visible for months)

It's showing on this checker,as Ultafast accepting orders, but not DSL checker.
