I've seen some threads that refer to the availability of G.Fast.
My brother lives in the Upper Killay area of Swansea, served by the Sketty exhange.
I noticed what looked like a G.Fast pod added to the cabinet at the bottom of his road a few months ago.
The DSL checker for his phone number has shown G.Fast as available for a few weeks and now when I put his phone number into the Openreach checker it says that he can order Ultrafast broadband.
I wanted to put a screenshot of the checker results but I don't seem to be able to do that.
Anyway, exciting stuff. Hopefully other areas of the country will be following soon.
