Unfortunately I wasnt around but my mother spoke to him and he told her that BT were planning on laying fibre in the area by the summer because the speeds for broadband in our street and the surrounding area are not good and they have started to try and fix areas with slow speeds.
He said it would be around 300Mbits if work is done by the summer.
Clearly this is FTTP - but has anyone seen this before? An OpenReach engineer measuring the street and saying its to sort out the slow speeds in the area? And is this just planning or it is actually going to happen?
