Lucky guy - I guess I come across so many issues because Bollington is semi-rural and people kind of expect better. Common call is "But we're only a few miles from civilisation"
Don't get me wrong, I had to jump through loads of hoops, also had to get my local MP involved and loads of emails sent to the top people in BT to get the database updated, all the hardware had been there since 2011 - 2012, it was just their system that said no.
The FTTC was where BT changed their mind about FTTP after it was all installed, so I guess installing FTTC, moving all the phone lines over to the new PCP was cheaper than sending their engineers out for FTTP.
Its a bit like Left hand Right hand with BT.
