Hi
I wonder if anyone can help? I am moving into a new built, possibly next month. The new property is connected to cabinet 13 on Kenton exchange in Newcastle upon Tyne. when I check on the openreach website I get the following message:
Your cabinet is enabled for Superfast fibre however you're not able to order fibre just yet. This might be because the length of the line is too long to get Superfast speeds. We're actively looking at other options.
the estimated speed on the BT speed checker is 5mbps!!
I lodged a case with Openreach who contacted me saying the passed the query to a specialist team and they would get back within 28 days.. the 28 days passed and I heard nothing. I contacted them again and was promised I would hear very soon, But I am still waiting.
Questions are:
1) Is this a case of databases not catching up with new builds?
2) how can I make openreach look at this quickly?
Many thanks
