interleaving suddenly applied to line?

Can anyone shed any light on why I have suddenly been interleaved?
Stats as below.

I was on Cloudscape and suffered with their congestion issues, I have moved to AAISP and things are massively better.
However I experienced a line drop yesterday morning that resulted in the DLM applying interleaving to the line.
The line has been in sync 80/20 for more than 3 years without issue, no noise on the line, and I am connected to the filtered faceplate.
Any ideas, or should I not worry?
I dont think GINP is enabled?

I Wouldn't worry unless it starts happening all the time and the line starts to go south. Its just BT's system deciding it knows best...

Another retrain overnight, downstream is now 78M.

Did you move to AAISP in the last couple days?

This looks odd, what modem is it?

They were meant to be rolling out a new DLM profile that had FEC by default. This might be it?

I've never seen an INP of 2.1
The minimum INP is usually 3

edit: won't be that. pretty sure the new profile is applied immediately to new lines, instead of an open profile (fastpath) for the 1st day or 2.

Yes AAISP for a few weeks now, no issues at all.

Its an ASUS DSL-AC56U, not sure what was there before.

I wouldn't expect the speed to drop though.

I'm on an ECI cab so shouldn't have G.INP anyway.

You couldn't have G.INP anyway.
OpenReach have removed it for Asus modems with Mediatek chipsets, as they don't behave properly.

As a router your Asus is fine.
As a modem it needs thrown in the bin.

I am tempted to replace the originally supplied modem, but the loss of line stats is a pain.
I know I can probably hack the modem to get the stats but its a pain!

You could buy a modem: the Draytek Vigor 130 works very well for me.

It gives basic stats via web interface and detailed stats via telnet. And it supports baby jumbo frames (MTU 1508), so if your router supports that as well, you can get 1500 MTU end-to-end over PPPoE.

I also now use a Vigor 130 as my Asus DSL-AC68U went from FastPath to Interleaved some months ago - with the Vigor 130 it went right back to FastPath after a couple of days and my sync rate went back up from 72000 to 79997. I can also access my line stats by entering the 192.168.2.1 IP address from my home network - just requires a small bit of configuration on the Asus router.

Yes I was thinking of that, the Dratek kit is good, its just too expensive for me!
I might use the old BT modem for a while and use the ASUS as a router.
I can tell if interleaving is removed when the latency drops, the AAISP portal will tell me the sync if it changes.
