In fact they are running at around 50 million an hour, and averaging 28 million over 3 days..
Those figures seem totally OTT, but are they, or is something exceptional causing them; router fault, maybe?
That's extremely high. A resync or reboot of the modem usually clears this. I get the same every few months but a quick resync returns FEC numbers to under 10k per min.
Yet it's so soon after upgrading with a somewhat below expectations result, but other erroring very good, that I wonder if a resync/ reboot is just kicking the can.
