Can anyone shed any light on the status of this cabinet?
No info from BT and it seems not in any plans to be upgraded to FTTC, my friend has sub 2Mb adsl!

Ive suggested Virgin to him, and it is available.

Hes reluctant due to others in the area having capacity issues with them (me included, but i can get VDSL despite being only 300 yards away).

He will have to give it a try, or suffer in silence!
