None.
The price isn't actually going down, it's just a long term promotion.
It encourages ISP's to try upgrade customers from ADSL to FTTC. Under these promotions the FTTC can work out cheaper to the ISP but they usually still charge more to the customer.

What are the chances that consumers will see price reductions?
Slim. Some ISP special offers are already premised on offers like these from Openreach and, frankly, broadband could do with being more expensive if anything to provide operators the income they need to maintain, upgrade and extend their networks.
Covered in our news, and it is important to consider the trigger levels involved, i.e. driven by providers increasing take-up, don't do that there is no saving.
So expect better offers for new customers initially, and maybe better retention deals.
We see price wars all the time with broadband and this is the perfect trigger for it.
Why we won't see any changes in price Because there are a lot of bigger costs to the ISP's than the annual wholesale rental charge for vdsl2 circuits, backhaul being the biggest cost this wont make any difference
