Community Fibre Partnership

[link to this post]

Has anyone on here had any experience with a CFP with Openreach? I'm in the very early stages of organising one for 14 properties but I'm already have problems getting login info for the community portal. I get one email from them thanking me for inquiring and saying they will send another with the login info within 24 hours but I never get it.

Have you checked your spam folder?

Emails that mention "login details" can easily be given short shrift by some filters.

Yeah it's definitely not in the spam folder. I have tried registering with different emails but it is still the same story, I have also got an email saying to fill out the attached template with the addresses but there was nothing attached in the email. There must be something wrong with Openreach's automated email system.

Hello Tim

We're delighted that you've shown interest in co-funding a faster, fibre broadband solution for your community through having a Community Fibre Partnership with us.

No doubt you're wondering what the cost is likely to be so you can discuss this with the people in your community to figure out if it's a viable thing for you all to do. We'll be able to give you a ballpark price once you've confirmed which premises in your area you'd like including in the new fibre infrastructure.

Please use this link to enter the addresses for all the properties you'd like to have included in the new fibre build - and remember to include your own!

Your login details are:

Login ID: *********************************
Password: *********

Once we've received your information one of our team will get back you typically within 15 working days. At this time we'll confirm the scope, then work through some initial checks to provide a ballpark cost for providing a new fibre infrastructure for your community so you can decide whether you want to proceed to the next step.

From the Community Fibre Partnerships Team

Openreach just must not like me lol No matter how many times I fill out the form with different details and different email addresses it won't send me the portal login info. All of the first emails are sent at about 5 past 1am for some reason. I did get the login details the very first time but this is when I was waiting on the FTTPoD survey and it has since timed out and now won't let me login or even reset the password.

I cannot change the password in mine choose how I try.

Yet I can still login with the original password. Bizarre.

I can still add names and addresses and have yet to submit the form.

The system seems to be very broken, I have tried emailing [email protected] but they just ignore me

You could just try emailing l Clive Selly, openreach CEO and ask to be put in touch with someone that deals with CFPs

I just tried it with Firefox, previously I had been using Chrome, I'll wait and see what happens.
