My road recently got upgraded to G.Fast, and whilst it isn't ridiculously expensive (£45 via EE) is it likely to get cheaper in the near-term?
My contract with Vodafone is due to expire in March and I'd like to get faster internet but hoping the price drops a little closer to what I'm paying for FTTC.
And yes, whilst I realise this is a first world problem and that I don't have to have faster internet, I'm just curious if more players in the market (I think Sky are launching G.Fast/FTTP soon?) would likely see a shift in the price point.
Thanks!
Ben.
