Has fibre first caused slowdown in fttp bduk installs

After seeing Hampsire's bduk fttp slip, the question is above, that with accelerated rollout and attention on fibre first cities, have non cities been pushed aside ?

Still seeing a reasonable amount of FTTP in the BDUK project areas but as they are in their much smaller phase II or later elements the volume was contracted to be a lot lower than the previous VDSL2 roll-out.

Perhaps at the margins it might have an impact but generally it shouldn't (For the reasons Andrew mentions the bduk is now mostly done)

yeah the phase 2 of bduk fttp areas are quite small, looking around the new forest i do see fttp installs continuing into feb, such as this one https://roadworks.org/?112491004. wave 2 of hants bduk was sposed to finish in 2018, with the extension into 2019 - it just seems that has slipped.

Hence the question and also slight frustration of being out of contract(hence higher costs) with my isp (whom doesn't provide fttp - and wont say if they will ).
