MYMSG 8 live date?

Does anyone know when MYMSG 8 is likely to be live please?

Wholesale checker says planned, Code Lookup says "FTTC being Connected, live due by April 2018"

On Google street view I can see the cabinet was installed prior to July 2018 https://goo.gl/maps/tiLSnJ3jTUq

Roadworks.org shows there is some BT works planned at the end of the month but just states "Perform 1 reinstatement activity"

Stuck in the connect stage is all I can see with no RFS

When I first saw your post the first thing that sprung to my mind was your recent comment on another thread.

I've seen many reports of where FTTC cabs have been stood sometimes for over a year not going live because there was issues getting power to them, IIRC some cabs were even removed due to power issues.

Looks like it might be waiting a new pcp shell to be installed and a deload / reload of the existing pcp to the new cabinet.

Thanks for the info, hopefully it will be done before my daughter moves in (late summer), then just need to ask nicely if the landlord will upgrade the ADSL to VDSL.

That's my thoughts with this one, quite possibly power has recently been connected hence the reinstatement road works, and now they need to replace the old cabinet. It will supply the student digs my daughters going to rent which currently has 12Mbps ADSL, not too shabby but shared between four students it won't stretch far.

Hope it all gets sorted out in time for your daughter.

The cabinet is now live with an estimated full 80Mbps, my last email to the letting agency in February suggested the land lord will most likely upgrade to FTTC, so I've just given them a nudge.

That's excellent news, it may have taken a while for the cabinet to go live but I'm sure the faster speed will be appreciated by your daughter when she moves in.
