FTTP "Umm can't find page"

[link to this post]

Have been in a holiday home at tr8 5rf with FTTP, speed test results indicate it has BT 80/20.
Am getting a surprising amount of "Umm, can't find page, please check address....", and having to navigate away from page and then back to it. Obviously it's not a big problem to me as I'll soon be on my way, although trying to send a couple of work emails which disappeared into the ether was a bit annoying.
I'm just puzzled as this is a rare occurrence on my travels, any ideas?

Either packet loss or there are DNS look up issues or the Wi-Fi is breaking intermittently

It would appear to be DNS look up issues, as when it happens for a minute or so I can access some websites (including pages I've never opened before) but other just keep returning 'Hmmm, can't find that page'.

You could try setting one of the public DNS services (e.g. 8.8.8.8, 9.9.9.9 or 1.1.1.1) as your DNS server.

This would then prove whether it's your ISP's DNS server which is at fault.

If you still get the intermittent lookups then it's more likely bursts of bad connectivity, causing all packets to be dropped on the floor.
