I have been given new information - that Phase 1 will cover only Bapton Lane & Close in Exmouth, and I have also been provided with a price list. Their full build plans run over six years.

There seems to be some confusion over pricing. The PDF flyer I received gave the following products and prices -

SmartHome50 - £35/month + installation, for a 50/10 service
SmartHome150 - £50/month + installation, for a 150/30 service
SmartHome500 - £70/month + installation, for a 500/100 service
SmartHome1000 - £100/month + installation, for a 1000/200 service

Price list

All prices inc VAT

However someone who visited one of their events stated these figures were mentioned -

30 down 10 up = £35
100 down 20 up = £50
300 down 50 up = £70
1000 down 200 up = £100

Obviously these are slower speeds at higher prices in most cases, 30/10 for £35 looks particularly uncompetitive - much slower and more expensive than a typical 80/20 FTTC connection.

Can anyone from Jurassic clarify their product line-up and pricing?

Perhaps easier to e-mail them, the address is on the flyer.

I've started to see a number of Jurassic Fibre vans driving around Exmouth recently.
Some of those have been near the phone exchange in town, so they've almost certainly started adding their own kit to the exchange.
The rollout can't be too far away now.

Interesting, or maybe not as I've been told my address is Phase 2 or 3.frown Knowing my luck I won't get coverage under Jurassic and of course Openreach aren't going to waste money on a duplicate fibre network for Exmouth. I'm on Pound Lane which is in the centre of Exmouth, if there are question marks over Pound Lane what else might not get covered?

I guess they're still trying to sort out their exact roll out, but I think we'll start to see some more comms from them soon. Hopefully where they're planning on rolling out and when.
I've had a look on roadworks.org for any updates and have found two for JF:

Work has started near Withycombe Rugby Club and the other near Kings garden centre.I would hazard a guess, that this is the prep work to bring the main fibre backbone into the town. I think I remember them saying they were coming down the A376 with it.

With the other providers, Virgin are likely a no go and BT seem to only be going with G.fast here.
So lets hope for a near 100% roll out from JF.
I'm starting to look forward to having FTTP finally.

So after an e-mail exchange with Jurassic it seems I'm in the Phase 2 build. Jurassic will be back in Exmouth Q3(June-August) with a possible connection towards the end of the year.

That sounds pretty promising.
I'm still thinking early next year to be connected up, though.

Their new site is a big improvement, the Bristol design team did a good job of it.
I've noticed they mention an availability checker on their site to be launched soon:
https://jurassic-fibre.com/can-i-get-jurassic-fibre

What’s more: for those of you who would like a better idea of when we’ll be near you, check back on this page soon to use our availability checker, which will tell you with more certainty how soon we’ll be joining you.

It might be a good way to see their actual roll out plans in the near future.

FTTP from openreach is now available in my area of Exmouth. I'm off Hulham Road end of Dinan Way. Can now order Full Fibre 250 from BT.
