Peculiar Openreach Cabinet Placement

[link to this post]

My local cab in Gt Yarmouth has just had a second Huawei FTTC cab connected to it. Over 70 metres away!

The old ECI cab I'm connected to is right next to the PCP, and I can see dozens of closer places (including right next to) to site a new cab. Anyone know what the reasoning behind this could be?

A photo of the new one would be useful.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Three 4G, tbb tests normally 35-45Mpbs down, 65Mbps off-peak, 9-24 up. BQM

Reasons for placement may not be visible e.g. spots closer may have underground duct/services in that spot
