Bakers Dozen - Fibre Villages - Flockton

[link to this post]

Per the article released today, I'm very excited that FTTP is coming to our Village, Flockton.

https://www.thinkbroadband.com/news/8556-baker-s-doz...

I understand its very early days with the announcement only out today, but would be interested to know what I can do to make sure I'm on the trial. I've been trying to get FTTP for the last couple of years and its been either very expensive, or not possible at all.

Our line is connected to cabinet number 3 on the Flockton exchange and my speed is 11Mbs - 12Mbs at best on VDSL / FTTC.

Any help that people can provide to guide me onto the trial is greatly appreciated.

No need for trail registration, as believe services will appear just like they do elsewhere.

The 50,000 is more than enough to do all the premises in the 13 villages and looking at roadworks.org (or https://one.network as it likes to be known now) there is some possible FTTP activity showing up for Flockton around the cab 3 area

The 13 are now on my Fibre First keep an eye out list.

Congrats, but the "trial" is more internal to Openreach in terms of how things are done and or certain new technologies, rather than the public signing up for a trial. So you will have to do nothing but order FTTP when its live. .
