OK fttc available line is cack & long get 9mbps down & 0.2Mbps up with loads of errors & was unusable so cancelled it.
Contacted BDUK group told me they were aware & FTTP was being funded & contracts had been signed with Openreach.
Checked our poles every other one has a CBT on it with spools of fibre hanging off foot pegs.
Contacted openreach on twitter told no fibre until 2021.
Contacted ceo office & told no plans at all never have been, commercial or BDUK. No answer when I asked why there are multiple CBT's on the poles (not connected up), plus little signs on the poles saying fibre overhead etc.
It's bizarre no one seems to be able to answer what they're actually doing. I don't care if it's x months away I'd just like to know if it's ever gonna actually happen.
More often than not an stuck indoors & I'd just like reliable broadband (I know 1st world problems etc)
