Does this mean I can get FTTP soon?

Just got this through the door:

It mentions fibre expansion and work going on in my street. However it specifically says it's going to be for the public sector. I live on a residential street. Any idea about what they are doing and if it means FTTP is going to be available to order for Joe public?

It doesn't mean anything for you getting FTTP in the short term.

Might make deployment easier when it does happen and make it happen sooner but you aren't getting FTTP immediately from this.

Building better networks, not just faster ones.

It's a leased line service not BT FTTP - so doesn't help.

That's a shame. Thanks both.
