The answer appears to be 'Yes, it does' - the internal fibre is connectorised.

Where you are self-installing the Openreach equipment we will supply the ONT, along with the battery back-up and the connectorised internal fibre cable you need.

The ONT will be installed at this location unless an alternative position has been agreed with your FBC and the appropriate connectorised internal fibre cable run in a continuous fault-free length to the alternative position

I would have said No as I'm only aware a SC connector is used at the ONT end not the CSP end

Newer installs are, internally, splice-free hence the different lengths of cable rather than a reel.

Can't expect developers to splice and Openreach don't do anything in the property for installs if developers are self-installing now.

No internal CSP unless there's a failure of the connectorised cable.

I just wanted to make sure but am happy now smile

When I had FTTP installed it was connectorized hybrid cable from the pole and to the the ONT was SC/APC connector . No CSP. Have they gone back to using the CSP and why?

Thanks,

It has a pre fitted SC connector at one end only (for the ONT), other end is just a cut end. Intended for the developer to pre install from the internal ONT position out to the external duct position ready for Openreach to fit an external splice point.

Was superseded by the all in one cables CBT to ONT. Front what Ive read on here theyre going back to the external splice as the all in one cables are hard to strip back for the internal portion.

They have.

It provides an external access point for testing. It also means that, with an inside out cable run from the ONT, that this can be completed, then if there are issues, no light at CBT etc, the customer doesnt have to hang around whilst the issue is sorted.

There has been some instances of the field fit SC connectors failing shortly after the instal.
