Yeah that's about the speed we got on BT 300Mb package when our old Switch decided to start to die, where the link speed on its ports would drop from 1Gbit to 100Mb resulting in around 90Mbits.
Glad you sorted it.

What price do you see on screen, of you don't mind me asking?
I get shown the >> following (taken just now) << when I check the prices for Full Fibre, please be aware I paid less than what is displayed when I ordered over the phone which I have always done and have always got a good price at the time of ordering.
Hope that helps.

Thanks
That is the same pricing as I saw, in Mar when I was one month in to a 2y contract at £50/m (give or take a penny).
When I called up I was offered the 500 package for £55 and the 900 for £58/m for a new 2y. I have heard rumours of people getting 900 at £55.
I don't see that there is any disadvantage to us consumers in sharing pricing. Am I missing something?
EDIT - to correct my original price from £60 (mistype) to £50

Well I don't normally say what we were quoted just in case it was a personal quote, but where other have said they were quoted the same price.
So I can say we are one of a few that were quoted the £54.99 for Full Fibre 900 + Line Rental (so about £35 for just the broadband), which was what we were paying for their 300 package.
It was BT that quoted that price to me, I didn't even have to haggle for that price, when I heard the price I had to ask her again just in case I miss heard her.
So it was the same price that we were already paying for the 300, so... for the same price with 3x the down and 2x the up speeds, its a no brainer.

£100 cashback If you purchase any Ultrafast package via Quidco - but for new BT customers only. Which works out around £55 over 24 months. Far easier than haggling over the phone

that is the worst tester I have ever used

I'd go along with that... as a clue, it gives my distance to the server (presumably based on my IP address) as 7,650 km
It gives my jitter as 212.69mS, which is the same as first two octets of my IP address... I hope it's coincidence

Clearly spam, raised in the usual place.
My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, sites and mail hosting - Tsohost & Ionos.
Connection - Three B311 4G, tbb tests normally 35-45Mpbs down, 65Mbps off-peak, 9-24 up. 1+ 8 Pro max 80Mbps down, 24Mbps up.
