Any way of finding out when the FTTP rollout will arrive?

Does anyone in the know know if there is a document with possible future installs/switchovers to FTTP? I'm on the Rochdale exchange. Thanks. smile

Thanks Andrew. Sorry yes Openreach! No sign of my exchange on there unfortunately. FTTC for a while yet by the look of it!

My area isn’t showing as coming soon, but when I put my postcode into the fibre checker, I got an email back saying my area was in the rollout. I’ve contacted Openreach and it’s due to be complete by Dec 21 so might be worth you doing the same?

Thanks mysticeddy - I shall try that and see what happens. Is it via the website Andrew kindly linked to that you tried?

The town I live in doesn't appear in any plans at all, however they started pulling the cables through this week outside my home. I managed to catch one of the people working and said it would 'soon' as in a few more months. I'm over the moon about and really surprised about it smile

Yes, www.openreach.com and pop your postcode in, select your address and enter your details. You’ll get one of two emails headed: ‘never say never’ or ‘great news’. Hopefully it’s the latter for you!

I've used that checker before and it has previously said there are no plans for FTTP my area. Now it's saying coming soon. Just need to wait and see how soon, I guess.

Unfortunately I get "We don’t have plans to upgrade your area yet. Tell us you’re interested and we’ll update you when things change."

Put my email in and shall just have to be patient! Thanks for the feedback everyone. 👍

I had that show up on the checker right up to the day I like actually order it.
So wouldn’t rely on it to be accurate.
I noticed cable being pulled in my street start of Jan, and was checking most of the time. Said nothing was planned. Then may 8th showed as available, but didn’t order as couldn’t with BT until 18th, cable now pulled to front door with inside install happening June 2nd (hopefully).
But with the street I think they had the do ducting work which delayed it several months.
