Cerberus FTTP to BT Migration? :: Fibre Broadband

Hi All,

I have seen this asked a few times - but wanted to check the current situation.

I’m currently with Cerberus on FTTP with a contract that expires soon. I’m considering moving to BT FTTP for the monthly cost saving.

What’s the current migration procedure or isn’t there one? I have a 1 Port ONT.

So am I right in saying I would need to cancel my FTTP connection wait for that to happen and for the line to show disconnected on the BT checker. Only then I’d be able to order the new connection, in which case I’d have some downtime. Or is there a better process now?
