FTTP rollout checker

[link to this post]

Is there an accurate way to get info on the FTTP rollout in the area? The openreach checker says no plans yet, but there are a number of vans in the area and the engineers have been saying it's for FTTP rollout which should be available in a few weeks. I can't even see the area I'm in listed on any rollout plans I've seen anyway, so either the engineers are lying, or it's just off the radar smile

I've got FTTC already and it's humming along fine but for the relatively small increase in price, I'd like 3x the speed smile

plusnet 4/11/2003 -> 4/3/2009 512Kb-2Mb
O2 Standard LLU 4/3/2009 -> 23/6/2009 ~3Mb O2 Access 13/7/2009 -> 22/6/2010 ~8Mb
plusnet 22/6/2010 -> 04/04/2014 ~8MB
plusnet 04/04/2014 -> ?? ~76Mb FTTC

if a fairly new home, built in last 2 decades then roll-out just happens with no appearing on any of the usual lists.

Ah, yea, just over 10 years old so that may well explain that then! I'll just keep an eye out on things and trust the openreach web site to notify me when it's available. OK, I'll keep checking because I'm not that trusting..

Always check the dsl checker not the openreach checker because this one below is live and will updated if anything change!

The OpenReach checker told me FTTP was coming months before the BT Wholesale checker did.

The OpenReach checker will show when FTTP is available even if BT Wholesale aren't ready to sell services.

The OpenReach checker is the best place to check FTTP availability.

There's been a load of spine works fairly nearby but checker still says no plans, estate is late 80s I think so no idea if we'll get it or not.

Probably just after I get fed up and shell out for s 5g router knowing my luck
