I suggest a review of financial priorities is required, not ludicrously fast broadband for a single person. Else you'll have money problems for life.

I am still with VM until the 24th Nov.
I am going to switch to Vodafone either fibre or fttc depending if fibre is ready, and at £22.50 a month for the 70mb fttc its a good saving from VM.

For some odd reason they have been up and down.
currently sat at 73mb according to vodafone but 80mb (clean) from the checker and 75 (impacted)
I am not far from the cab. But going from 500mb to 70 is gonna be a shock if I have to xD

Yep, it'll be a shock when you want to download stuff. But places like this and YouTube and the like, even decent streaming, are well within the capability of 70Mbps.
For instance I can run my new Android TV off my HomeFi mobile data connection which is much slower than that. F1 races on the TV, real-time lap times matching it on my iPad running from the same router. Not a stutter!
Similarly I can walk down the road with my mobile streaming things.
