CityFiber\Vodafone

[link to this post]

I am trying to find out if/when CF will open up to other providers other than Vodafone.

I found out that CF and Vodafone are partnered for the first 1Mil connections but how many are they at so far? I did see a 250K number floating around but that was some months ago.

I ask as Vodafone wont take me... Failed the credit check of all things! Odd since I pay VM £45 a month and the CF service I was gonna go for was less than that but ok.

Virgin Media
Connection Speed: DL: 575Mbps UL: 38.5Mbps
Speed test: 550Mbps DL

Hopefully you are looking into why you failed the credit check.

Around 340,000 premises passed, so actual connections will be lower

Adding around 20,000 a month

Have you had an "issue" any telecom bill in last 6 years?

Are you registered on electrical roll at current address.

Now if phoned it can happen the operator has just type in typo, you could try to apply on website.

Vodafone do have issue when apply they need to call back latter date. Now if call back is tried by Vodafone and they consider as unsuccessful. They will not open account for you.

Now Cityfiber is starting to allow other operators to use they network. But (well there always buts) there are exclusively contracts that have to end before others are allow to use there network else where. Thinkbroadband-Zen Internet to launch services over CityFibre network in January
